Time Management

My time is very limited these days. I have nineteen hours this semester. My classes are College Algebra, Public speaking, English Comp. 1, Intro to theatre art, this class, and Substance Abuse Awareness. These classes take up my time from about 8 to 12 and then I have basketball practice. Basketball practice can take my time up from about 1:30 to 6:30 on any given day. It just depends on what we are doing that day. When I poorly manage my time I feel disappointed when I find out what I was supposed to do. When I manage my time well and I do good on tests and assignments I feel proud of myself. It always feels good to succeed. In high school I managed my time perfectly but now in college it's more lax. My high school was almost like a mini-college. Everything they did for us was to "prepare us" for the next level of education. In college you don't have every teacher always reminding you to do things. It is more responsibility for you as a student, which takes more time. I like it that way though because you get a feeling like everything is on your shoulders. Some things that can help stress are going to tutors or mentors in the college. Those can help you out a lot if you are struggling.
